How do I care for and handle the painting once it arrives?
Original oils are remarkably forgiving, but a few habits will keep yours vibrant for decades. Avoid hanging it in direct sunlight — UV is the single biggest cause of color shift over time. Dust occasionally with a soft, dry brush (a clean makeup brush works beautifully); never use water, household cleaners, or sprays on the surface. No varnish is needed — oils cure on their own and develop a warm patina over the years. Keep the room's humidity between roughly 40–55%, which is comfortable for both the painting and most homes anyway.
How is the painting shipped and packaged?
Every original ships in a custom-built wooden crate lined with acid-free foam, the same packaging Nina uses for art-fair shows. Domestic US orders ship via insured FedEx or UPS with a signature required on delivery. Most paintings arrive ready to hang — wired on the back for smaller pieces, with hanging hardware noted on the listing for larger ones. Please allow 5–10 business days after purchase for crating and dispatch so the piece goes out in perfect condition. International shipping is available on request;

What is your return policy?
Every original comes with a 30-day, no-questions-asked return window. If the painting isn't right for your space, send it back in its original condition and Nina will issue a full refund minus the original outbound shipping cost. The buyer is responsible for return shipping — insuring the painting for its full value during transit is strongly encouraged, and Nina will help coordinate crate pickup if you'd like. Refunds are issued once the painting arrives back in the studio in the condition it left in.
Do you have framing recommendations?
For the floral pieces, a simple float frame in thin natural wood or a soft gilded finish tends to disappear and let the painting breathe — match the frame to the wall, not the canvas. Large statement pieces (24"×30" and up) often read best handled by a professional framer who can build a floater-style frame to your exact dimensions; Nina can recommend a framer she's worked with.
